February has come in like a lamb as has the rest of this winter!
We have lots of things going on this month.
Rose of Sharon Block of the Month is almost done!!
Come on in on the Fourth Thursday of the Month and sit and sew or share your version of this beautiful quilt.
Some are almost finished!
This year the Block of the Month will begin in April and will continue for six months until October.
It is called Holiday Magic and consists of Cut Work, machine embroidery and piecing.
If you don’t have cutwork or embroidery, not a problem.
You can do your blocks in class using our machines.
Staff will be on hand to help when needed.
Drop by to see the sample. It really is amazing!
Club 8 for 800 series machine owners begins this month on the 1st Saturday from 10am-noon. We encourage all 8 series owners to attend whenever possible. These incredible sewing computers are easy to learn, but there is a lot of information for us to pass along.
Bernina Club is on the third Saturday in the morning and Embroidery Club is on the same day in the afternoon.
We still have a few Bernina floor models to sell and the prices are amazing.
There are lots of classes scheduled and New Fabric arriving every day!

Quilting 101
Join us for this comprehensive “Start to Finish” Quilt.
We begin with the basics of accurate cutting and go all the way to the binding.
Pick up tips and techniques. Join us for our project or bring one of your own!
New starts every Tuesday or Thursday. Call to reserve space.
From 10-Noon or 6pm-8pm.

Hand Quilting
This all time favourite class just keeps going!
We will cover everything from the Quilter’s Knot to quilting a perfect stitch.
Tuesday February 14 from Noon to 4PM.

Four Patch Posie This is an uncomplicated variation of the stack and whack. You work with four layers and the results are amazing!

Easy Angle Fish Quilt
This is a great little fish quilt, suitable for both boys and girls.
Brightly coloured fish swim around this cute little project.
A great way to learn the “Easy Angle” ruler.

Free Motion Quilting
Join us for a freemotion frenzy.
Learn techniques and hear all our “trade secrets” in the first class. In the second class you can use those skills on a lap or small quilt.

Gracie Handbag This is a nice quick to finish handbag. It is fully lined with six inside pockets and a flap that closes with velcro. Finished size is 15″wide by 10″high. Finish it in class!

Get to Know Your Serger
Do you have one of those multithread machines just sitting in it’s box?
This class will be to refresh you on techniques and operation of this amazing machine.

Sharon Pederson’s Rose of Sharon Block of the Month This amazing “QUILT AS YOU GO” project by Sharon Pederson is quilted as it is appliqued. No quilting needed at the end!!
